FILOS – Analysis of Filtration Data

A user-friendly Visual-Basic-Program (one of the two main modules of the software FILOS) for systematising, analysing and evaluating filtration tests on a laboratory, pilot and operational scale.

Cake Expression
Cake Washing
Cake Deliquoring
Filter Medium Selection
Claryfication (No cake formation)

The main objectives of this Program are the acquisition of the parameters required for the calculation of filters and the easy evaluation of the quality of the filtration data by using suitable, theory based charts. Absolutely important is the creation of a data base that not only offers a tabular representation of the measured data for all investigated filtration phases but also the storage of all important parameters, which characterise the filtration behaviour of the given suspension.
